Hello and welcome to Thistle and Sparrow. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Tera Swigart. I started this business out of a very hard time in my life. After being diagnosed with a life-altering health condition, I had to leave my job and have been spending my days in bed.

As a way to pass the time, I began learning micro macrame and fell in love with it. I’ve always loved functional art, and the idea of making beautiful things that put a smile on people’s faces makes me happy.

Because I have to work when I have the energy, I will make and release small batches throughout the year. The meadow collection is our first drop, and I’m already daydreaming about some future collections.

I hope each bracelet brings a little joy into your life or the life of the one you gift them to. I’m so grateful for every order as it helps me provide for my family while keeping my mind and hands busy.

Thistle & Sparrow was inspired by my love for nature and the following scripture that I’ve been leaning on during this time. I hope it inspires you as well!
